Questo libro ripercorre l’epopea proustiana dell’io lungo la corsia preferenziale delle «intermittenze del cuore». Tre sono le tappe affrontate: l’episodio della madeleine, i tre alberi di Hudimesnil e le scintille sensoriali che folgorano il protagonista nel Temps retrouvé. Senza disattendere l’impegno filologico che gli è consono l’autore ci conduce piacevolmente, coadiuvato da Silvia Peronaci per la parte filosofica, lungo le volute della Recherche inerenti alle estasi metacroniche e ne mette in luce la loro natura di meditazione.
Proust era un «maestro di grazia» o anche un «maestro di pensiero»? Solo un letterato o anche un narratore-filosofo? And that is why philosophy, in him, takes a variety of modes of expression.
These "readings" of the Recherche - submitted by Gianluca Valle - are accompanied by a very useful essay on the reception of Anne Simon Proust's philosophical hermeneutics of the twentieth century France. They can do an analysis of soft and concentrated, willing to be molded by the complex thematic / structural pieces but not to yield to that reductionism which certain episodes relating to the fetishistic 'involuntary memory' are often forced.
Giuseppe Grasso, Professor of French Language and Literature, philologist, translator and journalist, he edited in 1990, along with Paul Pinto, the first Italian edition of "In Search of Lost Time" conducted on the critical text established by Jean-Yves Tadié editions appeared at Newton Compton. It was one for over twenty years of literary critics - and the specialist who teaches the discipline - in the newspaper "Il Popolo" in Rome, which became, in 2003, "Europe", which has absorbed part of the writing and many collaborators.
