But what makes the news today is not the script for this sequel, but the buzz around a possible candidacy of former rocker Rob Zombie as a director of the film. The first-time director has shown interest in the saga for some time, this is your statement to the microphones to MTV: "I'd do a movie with corsairs and pirates. I proposed such a film before the success of Pirates of the Caribbean, but everybody told me it would not work. "
